Event Recap: The LSF at The Future of Healthcare, Life Sciences, and Biotech Conference

The Longevity Science Foundation was recently asked to participate in the “The Future of Healthcare, Life Sciences, and Biotech” conference co-hosted by the Silverstein Dream Foundation and The Beryl Consulting Group in New York City. As part of the program, our CEO, Joshua Herring, joined the panel “Cancer, IP and Longevity: Translating Uncertainty into Impact” to discuss the current state of the longevity field, the role of philanthropy, and why sustained philanthropic support for scientific research is critical at this moment.

The conference gathered leaders from across healthcare, biotech, life sciences, and AI to explore how mission-driven capital and cutting-edge science can accelerate innovation and improve patient outcomes. Audience members and participants valued learning how targeted, transparent funding can help translate promising longevity research into real-world applications that extend healthy human lifespan.

In the video below, Joshua shares how the longevity ecosystem is evolving, why cross-sector collaboration matters, and how philanthropic partners can help close critical funding gaps from discovery through to clinical implementation. The Longevity Science Foundation is grateful to Patricia Silverstein and the organizing teams at the Silverstein Dream Foundation and The Beryl Consulting Group for providing a platform to showcase this mission-driven work.
