Richard Siow
Richard Siow is the Director of Ageing Research at King’s (ARK), a cross-university consortium of researchers taking a multidisciplinary approach to better understand the mechanisms of ageing, improving health-span and the social and economic impact of ageing.
Dr. Siow is a recognized thought leader in the longevity field. As the Director of ARK, he spearheads cutting-edge research focused on nutrigenomics and the role of aging in redox signalling related to cardiovascular and cerebrovascular health. His work is primarily based at the BHF Centre of Research Excellence at King's Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine, and extends across several institutions, including honorary roles at the Centre for Healthy Brain Ageing and the NIHR HealthTech Research Centre in Brain Health. He also serves as a Visiting Professor at the University of Oxford and holds fellowships with the Royal Society of Biology and the European Society of Preventive Medicine, where he serves as Secretary General.
